§ 51.045. USE OF OLD BUILDING SEWERS WITH NEW BUILDINGS.

  • Old building sewers may be used in connection with new buildings only when they are found, on examination and test by the Inspector, to meet all requirements of the town’s Sanitary Sewer Construction Ordinance, including passing both current pressure and deflection testing requirements. No evidence of inflow and infiltration must exist in the system. The town’s Utility Director and Collection Superintendent shall make the final determination on whether the system meets town standards.
