§ 35.04. VEHICLE TOWING FEE.

(A) The town shall assess a fee of $45 for each vehicle ordered to be towed by the Police Department, except those vehicles that must be towed as a result of circumstances beyond the control of the vehicle owners (i.e., a vehicular accident for which the owner/driver bears no fault).
(B) The Police Department shall collect the $45 fee prior to releasing any towed vehicle to the owner and shall forward the collected fees to the office of the Clerk-Treasurer a minimum of once per month.
